How can I get a DIGITAL BADGE for a Scouts for SDGs challenge?

All Scouts can earn a digital badge for completing any of the challenges under a Scouts for SDGs initiative. For example, if you complete the Scouts Go Solar challenge, you’ll earn the digital Scouts Go Solar badge!

To complete a challenge, you need to:
  • Discuss and agree with your Adult Leader on the activities for your badge journey;
  • Complete the linked activities on the challenge page;
  • Complete a community service project as agreed with your Leader;
  • Answer the validation questions about the challenge activities. This will show that you not only completed the activities but also understood them and reflected on the lessons learned;
  • Have a dialogue evaluation with your Adult Leader about your journey during the challenge and how you contributed to change through your project;
  • Share your project story on sdgs.scout.org.

Once this is done successfully, you’ll find the digital badge in your account!

How can I get the Earth Tribe Pin?

Earth Tribe pins are available in countries where the National Scout Organization (NSO) has implemented the Earth Tribe initiative.

Scouts can earn the pin for completing any Earth Tribe challenge activities and your community service project. For example, if you already got the Champions for Nature challenge badge, you are a member of Earth Tribe and you can also wear the pin! The same goes for the Scouts Go Solar and Tide Turners Plastic challenges.

You only need to complete one challenge to be a member of Earth Tribe, though you are encouraged to continue exploring other challenges of your interest.
