What does the new tagline "Ready for Life" represent?

The new tagline is a simple phrase to represent the essence of Scouting’s mission “to contribute to the education of young people” to be “self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.” The tagline also articulates the refreshed brand’s value proposition “Equipping young people with the skills and values to shape the life they lead.” The tagline works well in English and translates well into other WOSM languages. The tagline also connects to the Scout Motto to “Be Prepared”.

Our new tagline, "Ready for Life", encapsulates Scouting's mission to contribute to the education of young people, enabling them to be global citizens who are playing a constructive role in society. The tagline is simple and connects seamlessly to the Scout motto of "Be Prepared." 

The tagline works is available in English, as well as in French, Spanish, and Arabic as the official and working languages of World Scouting. The tagline offers a creative brand element, separate from our logo, that can be used across a variety of digital, advertising, merchandise and campaign applications. The new “Ready for Life” tagline replaces the current tagline “Creating a Better World”.
