The refreshed brand and visual identity were approved by the World Scout Committee following their March 2024 meeting. The World Scout Committee has the deciding authority for accepting changes to the World Scouting brand and did so last time the brand was refreshed in 2006-2007 during a similar process.
The brand refresh in 2006-2007 did not consider changes to the World Scout Emblem, World Scout Flag and World Scout Badge that would go beyond the definition in the WOSM Constitution, nor does the brand refresh in 2024, and therefore no Conference Resolution is required.
Funding for this initiative was provided by a number of generous BP Fellows through the World Scout Foundation to support our new Strategy for Scouting and refreshed brand.
